Grand Teton Proposal : L + L

Over the years we have been blessed to work with so many amazing couples and families from all over the nation and even a few abroad! While certain things become easier and more routine, it seems like every year always give us a pleasant surprise, change up, or something statistical that we wouldn’t necessarily see coming. 2023 for instance, I swear to you every other wedding we were a part of that year had heavy rain. Or that time in 2019 where we must have received no less than 10 inquiries for the wildly popular date of 10/10/2020. Whether simply a coincidence or a growing trend, every year brings something a little different. For us 2024 was proposal-palooza! Last year was our busiest in terms of surprise proposals, and we were able to help 45 amazing couples capture the big moment! By far one of our favorite during that time was Liam’s surprise proposal to Lauren in the Grand Teton National Park last summer! We were so glad the timing for this all worked out as we already had a family vacation planned to Glacier National Park on the original day Liam was looking to schedule.
After narrowing down a few beautiful locations in the park, Liam decided on the always beautiful, Mountain View Turnout. For anyone whose followed us for a while, you already know this is one of our favorite locations! The ease of access, gorgeous views, and shape of the Grand Tetons from this perspective make it a wildly popular choice among our couples and families. The reason this one was one of our favorites is because it encompassed all of the things that we love about shooting proposals in Jackson Hole. The element of surprise, the sweetest of emotions, and of course views for days. When Liam dropped to one knee, Lauren’s reaction was simply priceless. The shock pretty immediately turned to joy and made this one of those sessions that was pretty much nonstop laughs from beginning to end. Throw in a perfect night in the Tetons and it’s easy to see why this one holds a special place in our heart. Big congrats to Liam and Lauren and as always, we hope you all enjoy following along!
