Gorgeous Winter Elopement
Growing up in Florida, there’s always something so special to us when the winter season arrives. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we went without it for the majority of our lives, but for some reason we have just grown to love this season and especially all of the beautiful snowy weddings and elopements that come with it! One of our favorite winter weddings from this past year was Miranda and Caleb’s elopement in Jackson Hole! Now for anyone whose been to our area, you already know by mid December, it’s a different level of winter than a lot of other parts of the country. Being from the southeast like us we were a little worried the Wyoming winter might be a bit much for Miranda and Caleb but these two were unfazed!
Miranda and Caleb were accompanied by their parents and they could not have been any more sweet or supportive throughout the evening! Especially Caleb’s dad who not only put together the beautiful florals, but was also their officiant. I joked at one point I’d hand him a camera if he wanted to add that to his talented resume (lol). After a heartfelt ceremony, we bounced around the immediate area to hit some of our favorite 'non Teton' spots since the winter storm was covering the view, but it didn’t even matter. I’m pretty sure we could’ve shot Miranda and Caleb in a parking lot and these two would’ve crushed it! This is also one of the fun parts about cold winter elopements. Warming up in between locations and then exploring around for the next one. Of course we had to save the best for last and right as the sun was going down and blue hour was kicking in, we finished up with these cuties at Jackson Square downtown! The timing could not have been better and these actually ended up being some of our favorite images from their entire day, but don’t take our word for it, we hope you enjoy following along on their special day!
